Yogic Ethics:
The Yamas and Niyamas

~With Gurleen Grewal~

Saturday January 8, 2005
At TreeHouse Yoga Center
12:30-3pm Cost $30 Registration

This is a workshop on Yamas and Niyamas, the first two parts of the 8-limbed (asht-anga) path of yoga described by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Yamas describe appropriate attitudes and actions toward others while Niyamas are recommended observances describing the desired relationship to ourselves. These attitudinal and behavioral orientations constitute the foundation of Yoga.
The lecture is open to all who have an interest in Hatha Yoga.
