The weekend program will include sessions on:
Free the Spine
This series includes a variety of flowing posture sequences for
lengthening the spine and strengthening the back. Through our
practice of coordinating movement with the flow of the breath,
we will enhance the flow of energy up the spine.
Free the Hips
Stretches specifically for the lower body will be the theme for this workshop.
Through flowing sequences and sustained poses we will move energy through the
hips, legs and pelvic region. Benefits include increased circulation and released
tension in hips and legs, resulting in lightness through the lower body.
Trinity Practice has a threefold emphasis on posture, rhythmic breathing techniques and meditation. The session will open with a salutation to regulate breath and warm up the body. Sustained poses allow us to deepen our awareness on the flow of the breath. A guided breathing sequence prepares the mind for meditation.
Students of all levels are welcome!
