We are happy to have Bob Smith return to Tampa so that you can receive specific hands-on instruction from one of America's premier yoga teachers. Bob is the author of Yoga for a New Age. He has been dedicated to the study, practice and teaching of yoga for over 25 years. Bob shares in-depth study of asanas, as well as instruction in meditation, breathing practices, and partner work in a clear and good-humored way. Bob describes his yoga as "Street Yoga" because it's practical, energetic, earthy, fun and spiritual. This workshop can help the most experienced yoga teachers as well as beginning teachers become stronger and clearer in your practice and your teaching. Bob will offer 12 hours of the 20 hours of instruction during the training weekend. The additional 8 hours will include anatomy, philosophy, methods of teaching, and practice teaching. This training weekend is limited to 50 people. The 6 hours with Bob on Monday at the TreeHouse is open to only 18 people so that you can receive specific hands on assistance for your own practice and for your teaching. You must attend at least 9 hours of Bob's weekend training to register for the Monday session. Reserve your space ASAP; it will fill quickly. You do not need to be admitted to the on going FIFIYS Teacher Training Program to attend this workshop. Bob's weekend sessions are appropriate for teachers, as well as experienced students. The training weekend will be held at USF and at the TreeHouse. When you register, you will receive a schedule plus materials you might want to read in preparation for the weekend.
